An existing client, for whom the architect designed the pre-school campus, approached us to develop this parcel, which would remove the existing single–family residence and would add six new apartments to the property. The solution is presented in a collection of structures avoiding numerous costly improvements. The design creates a private courtyard space in between the new structures and offers private balconies with views overlooking Silverlake Hills. The design provides a combination of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments.
