Boyle Heights Craftsman (ADU)

The client, with an existing craftsman duplex in Boyle Heights, approached us with a desire for a new artisanal cabinetry workshop and a new living space for their artist–in–residence program. The solution presented itself in the form of a new two-story ADU housing the workshop and family storage on the first level with the living quarters perched above the backyard. The new building is designed to complement the existing craftsman house. The project is currently in construction.
