Contemporary Classic House 

A complete renovation of this tired residence in one of Pasadena’s most storied neighborhoods. It is a case study in minimal intervention for maximum impact. In keeping with Pasadena’s policies of preserving neighborhoods, the project was phased and designed to minimize street impact, while getting the new owner into a renovated home, while more elaborate additions are being approved. The design honors the bones of the existing building while maximizing openness, flow and natural light through the renovated space.
