Under Project HOMEKEY, this previously dilapidated Motel 6 property will be converted into 111 units of interim supportive housing for folks currently living on the streets of Los Angeles. The new space will also include intake offices for our client Hope the Mission to support its tenants, an outdoor space with a newly designed landscape, and a brand-new community building. With floor to ceiling glass walls, the new community center will tout bright and cheery lighting, lending itself as an inviting and open space for tenant engagement.
We will convert the entire energy structure from gas resources to electric, in compliance with our 2030 AIA commitment to heightened environmental standards. The building will achieve net zero energy due to the significant solar array and the installation of solar panels. Electric Vehicle charging stations will be included on site as well.
