This prototype aims to enhance the existing house and the garden affordably, easily, and respectfully.
The design is driven by affordability, ease of permitting and good placemaking. It addresses these fundamental questions which are rarely asked or answered: How can an ADU enhance the property’s sense of place? How does one put an ADU on a property and not radically diminish the quality of the yard/garden space?
